Finance OS
End-User License Agreement
Effective date: August 10, 2026
These terms govern authorized use of APAR Ops Finance OS.
1. Authorized use
APAR Ops Finance OS is a private finance-monitoring and reporting workflow. Subject to these terms, APAR Ops grants authorized users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the workflow for internal finance monitoring and reporting.
Users may only connect QuickBooks Online companies and other data sources they are authorized to access.
2. QuickBooks Online connection
Finance OS uses Intuit OAuth 2.0 authorization to access QuickBooks Online data within the permissions approved by the authorized user. The current workflow is designed primarily for read-only retrieval and reporting unless a future feature is explicitly configured and authorized otherwise.
QuickBooks Online remains the accounting system of record. Finance OS dashboards and derived management metrics are supplemental views and do not replace the underlying books and records.
3. Third-party services
Finance OS may depend on third-party services including QuickBooks Online, n8n, Google Sheets, hosting providers, and analytics services. Availability and processing by those services are governed by their respective terms and policies.
APAR Ops is not responsible for outages, changes, or data-handling practices that are solely controlled by those third-party providers.
4. User responsibilities
Authorized users are responsible for safeguarding their accounts, granting only necessary access, reviewing the accuracy of management outputs, and maintaining appropriate accounting records and backups.
Users must not use Finance OS to access data without authorization, interfere with connected services, or attempt to bypass security controls.
5. No professional advice
Finance OS provides operational reporting and workflow support. It does not provide legal, tax, investment, audit, or other regulated professional advice. Users remain responsible for decisions made from the information displayed and should consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
6. Data and intellectual property
Users retain their rights in the accounting and business data they lawfully provide or authorize Finance OS to process. APAR Ops retains its rights in the Finance OS workflow, configuration, software, documentation, and related materials, except for third-party components governed by their own licenses.
7. Disclaimer and limitation
Finance OS is provided on an as-available basis. While reasonable care is taken in building and operating the workflow, outputs may be incomplete, delayed, or affected by source-system data and third-party availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, APAR Ops disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising solely from use of the workflow.
8. Suspension, disconnection, and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated if authorization is withdrawn, connected credentials expire, security concerns arise, or these terms are materially breached. An authorized user may disconnect QuickBooks Online access at any time through the applicable connected service or authorization process.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated as Finance OS changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued authorized use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
